About Us

.dev (pronounced “dot dev") is the essential club for students interested in the tech industry. We provide our members with opportunities to explore software engineering, data science, UI/UX design and quantitative trading, and help them develop the skills they need to succeed.

Project Competition

During the project competition, members form teams to build remarkable projects and present them to a panel of judges from the industry.

Competitive Programming Group

Our Competitive Programming Group prepares members to ace their technical interviews, and perform in major competitions such as the ICPC.

Guest Speakers

Members can attend exclusive events with accomplished guest speakers from across the tech industry

Corporate Events

We partner with notable companies to hold info sessions, recruiting events, and technical workshops

UI/UX Design Workshops

Our UI/UX workshops teach attendees how to build mockups, avoid common UX pitfalls, and create user-friendly designs.

Social Events

We host a variety of social events throughout the year, including boba socials, poker nights, and Smash tournaments.

Q: Do I need to be a Computer Science major to join .dev?

A: No- students from any major are welcome to join.

A: Not a problem- our project competition and competitive programming group provide many opportunities to learn.

Q: Is .dev still hosting events during the ongoing pandemic?

A: Yes- for the safety of our members, all events are now virtual, but will still occur as planned.
